LIVE UPDATE: Chapecoense plane crash A plane carrying Brazilian club Chapecoense to the Copa Sudamericana final crashed in Colombia on Monday night, claiming 76 of the 81 souls on board.

There are unconfirmed reports breaking that there is a sixth survivor of the crash, defender Helio Neto. It should be stressed that no official statement has been released regarding this news, however.

Plinio Arlindo de Nes, one of Chapecoense's board of counsellors, stated: "There is a HQ in Chapeco to tend to the families. We had lifelong friends in that flight, and we have no information on how they are now. This group of athletes and directors was not only a respectful and strong group, it was like a family. And yesterday, as they were embarking, it was said they were chasing a dream. And that dream was finished overnight.
"What I have to say to all Brazil is that your solidarity is huge, and I'm thankful for that"

Torino have been touched by a similar tragedy in 1949 and have paid their respects.
The Italian side Tweeted: "Very touched by the
Chapecoense tragedy. Fate links us to you forever. We are like brothers to you."

My prayers are with everyone associated with @ChapecoenseReal and their families.
