Ibinabo Fiberesima's 2 year mariage to Uche Egbuka, has ended
Actress and former AGN President, Ibinabo Fiberesima, is officially a single woman again. A source close to the mother of three told LIB exclusively that the couple went their separate ways sometime last year but kept it out of
social media.
This morning, while celebrating turning a year older, Ibinabo hinted that her marriage to Uche Egbuka, is over. Ibinabo married Uche, a single father of two, in December 2014. In a message shared on Facebook to thank her fans for standing by her all through the years, Ibinabo talked about the pain of a "dissolution of a bond" she had "hoped to keep with a life time partner and the re-emergence of singleness". Tell me how could I have survived the year without you guys? I think about it every day and everyday my love for God and good hearted men rise but today the 13th of January it hits it's peak and my joy officially knows no bounds as God has kept me alive despite all and led me to witness yet another birthday with the people I love. 'There is crisis in Tonto Dikeh's marriage'

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh is in the news again and for her sake we hope it's false. Word got out that her 17 month old marriage to hubby and philanthropist Oladunni Churchill is in trouble. There were reports online today that there was allegedly another woman in the mix...but many didn't take the report seriously until Tonto removed her husband’s name, Churchill from her IG handle, fueling speculations that their marriage is indeed is in crisis.
LIB reached out to one of Churchill's aide who spoke to us on the condition of anonymity saying, 'haba, there's no issues at all, why do people like making issues out of nothing. The fact that she changed her name on social media does not imply crisis, what if it's for a business
purpose'. However, another source in Tonto Dikeh's camp told LIB that, 'they had a small issue but honestly it's nothing am sure they are fine'.
A week ago, the actress shared a cryptic post on
Instagram which partly reads, 'If that guy doesn't call you for two weeks, he doesn't like you as much as you like him. If that important meeting keeps on getting rescheduled, it means it is not that important to the other party. Remember your happiness starts with you. Not
with your relationship. Not with your friends. Not with your job. But with you. Things outside of you won't fix problems on the inside. Love yourself properly and people will love you'.

FG approves N14.4bn contract for the early works on the 2nd Niger bridge
The Federal Government has awarded the contract for additional early works on the Second Niger Bridge linking Delta and Anambra States in the South- South and South-East zones respectively. The Contractor handling the project is Messrs Julius (Nig.) Ltd. at total cost of
N14,446,010,416.16K (Fourteen billion, four hundred and forty-six million, ten thousand, four hundred and sixteen naira, sixteen kobo).
The existing Niger Bridge which was commissioned on January 4th 1966 is said to be severely overstressed and its continued serviceability cannot be assured. In a related development, the Federal Government has also
awarded a contract for emergency repairs of Tamburawa Bridge along Kano- Kaduna Dual Carriageway in Kano State to Messrs. Borini Prono & Co. (Nig.) Ltd. The cost of the project is N1, 898,456,175.00K (One billion,eight hundred and ninety-eight million, four hundred and
fifty-six thousand, and one hundred and seventy-five naira) with a twelve-month completion period. The scope of works for the Emergency Repairs involves the use of rock-filled gabion protection with reno mattresses, fitters and embankment protection to the abutments.
This intervention is premised on the public outcry and concern earlier expressed by the Executive Governor of Kano State over the scouring around the piles and exposure of substructures of the said bridge and subsequent integrity test carried out by Engineers from
the Ministry.

Ugandan Man Buried With N17M Meant To Bribe God
Charles Obong, 52, who worked as a senior
personnel officer in the ministry of Public
Service from 2006 to 2016, reportedly wanted to
use the cash to redeem his soul before God. Obong reportedly saved more than Shs200
million (about N17m) to bribe the Almighty
Father on Judgement Day so He could forgive
his earthly sins. He died on December 17, 2016,
after a long illness and was buried on Christmas
Eve.
He was buried in a metallic coffin estimated to
have cost Shs20m. The Aromo Sub-county
chairman, Mr David Elic, said his brother-in-law
had left behind a Will, dictating that upon his
death, his wife Ms Margaret Obong should
deposit huge sums of money in his coffin. .
He planned to convey the money to God as an
offertory so that the Almighty Father could
forgive his sins and save him from hellfire. He
reportedly also instructed his brother Justin
Ngole and sister Hellen Aber to bear witness to
ensure his wife follows his testament to the
letter and secure the money in his coffin.

Chairman of APC in South Africa, Festus Ogbeide, has died. He died yesterday January 9th, in a fatal car accident at Pretoria East along Delmas road in South Africa where he lives. Hollywood actors, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie released their first joint statement Monday January 9, 2017. In the statement, the estranged couple agreed to seal all court documents pertaining to their divorce in order to protect their six children.
"The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues.
The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification," the couple said in the statement. Jolie and Pitt have been in the midst of a public divorce and custody battle over their children. While Jolie is seeking physical custody, Brad has requested joint custody.
The statement comes one month after Pitt was denied an emergency hearing in which he was attempting to have a judge seal all of their documents and proceedings to "protect the privacy" of their kids to avoid subjecting them to the negative impact of the intense media coverage and worldwide public scrutiny." Pitt and Jolie are currently following an informal custody arrangement in which Jolie retains physical custody and Pitt is given supervised visits.

Several designers desperately want to dress Melania Trump on Inauguration day
Shortly after Trump’s victory in November, designer Sophie Theallet urged her colleagues in the fashion world industry to boycott the Trumps and not to design clothing for or associate with the new First Lady in any way.
“The rhetoric of racism, sexism, and xenophobia unleashed by her husband’s presidential campaign are incompatible with the shared values we live by. I encourage my fellow designers to do the same,” she said.
But a number of iconic fashion designers are ignoring her and are reportedly scrambling for the chance to dress future First Lady Melania Trump for Inauguration Day which will take place on January 20, 2017. New York socialite and philanthropist and Trump family friend Jean Shafiroff, who sits on the Couture Council of The Museum at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, took a poll to determine how interested designers were to dress Mrs. Trump.
Shafiroff told the New York Post that Zac Posen, B. Michael America, Victor de Souza, and Zang Toi are among the designers who say they’d be willing to dress the First Lady to-be. Calvin Klein and Stefano Gabbana have also shown interest in clothing Melania Trump.
De Souza even said he wouldn’t charge the first lady, according to Shafiroff claims. B. Michael’s has made designs for Cicely Tyson, Beyoncé and Patti LaBelle. The Harlem-based designer told Shafiroff “he’d be honored” to work with the first lady.
“Any designer who dresses her will get enormous press,” Shafiroff said. Last month, designer Calvin Klein said to TMZ "Of course” he would dress Melania Trump. “She’s beautiful.”
Stefano Gabbana (co-founder of Dolce & Gabbana) said he is very willing to dress Melania. He even showed off a dress Melania Trump wore to celebrate the New Year on his page.
The news comes after several world-renowned designers, including Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs, publicly declined to design clothing for Mrs. Trump.
“I have no interest whatsoever in dressing Melania Trump,” Jacobs told WWD in November. After Tom Ford's statement, he received huge criticisms from Trump supporters and lots of praises from Anti- Trump supporters.
However, Tom Ford told ELLE.com on the Golden Globes red carpet that he wasn't being biased when he said he wouldn't dress Melania. He said:

Liverpool star Roberto Firmino loses £70K worth of jewelry and clothes to burglars
Liverpool and Brazil attacker, Roberto Firmino was the victim of a burglary in which hooded thieves made away with £70K worth of jewelry and clothes. His Liverpool home was targeted and ransacked by the thieves on December 22nd, they are believed to have watched the house for a number of days and pounced when the Brazilian left with his wife and two children.
It is believed the thieves had previously tried to hit on the property but were disturbed before they could do much damage. Club officials moved the 25yr old Brazilian and his young family - wife Larissa and two small children - into a hotel over the Christmas period and have now provided them with a security team tasked with protecting them at the home.
A source said:
'They'd obviously been watching Roberto come and go, then swooped in. 'It's thought they are the same guys who were disturbed mid-burglary on a previous occasion. 'He was obviously shaken up as he has a young family, so the club had him in a hotel before giving him security at the house.' Forensic tests have been carried out on the house and investigation's are underway.

England and Tottenham striker, Harry Kane welcomed a baby girl with his long term girlfriend, Kate Goodland. He announced the good news on Twitter and the couple named their bundle of joy Ivy Jane Kane. The new parents have known each other since their high school days and have been together since their teenage years.
His teammates, Dele Alli and Wayne Rooney sent him their congratulations on Twitter. Congrats to them.
